14 day Global On-Air Festival, 336 hours of Programming, 162 Music Radio Shows, 87 Radio Station Guests, 59 Cultures, 6 locations, and much debate; that was the International Radio Festival 2013!

After 2 weeks on air; featuring a star studded line up of radio artists during the warm-up period; four festival days at the magnificent Schloss Sihlberg broadcasting live-on-air some of the best radio shows by radio professionals from around the world; and supported by over a dozen industry professionals who shared their knowledge with a record number of delegates….

… we at the IRF broadcast a massive THANK YOU to all who made this possible, to all our global listeners, and to those who supported and participated in this year’s Festival.

Without YOU, our Listeners, GUESTS and PARTNERS, the world’s only radio festival to celebrate music radio content, and their makers, would not have been made possible.
And so we we are delighted to already be able to set the date for the 5th Edition of the IRF on 3rd September 2014 – see you there!

“It was actually a lovely surprise to win the Mixcloud competition. I work away to put up a new edition of Melodica every Monday morning, and I know it is appreciated by the listeners because of all the feedback I get, but sometimes it’s like being in a little bubble of music, so getting recognition from an esteemed panel of radio experts gives me extra confidence and confirms that I should be proud of the show and what it does.”
